Now that I look I find D6H2's and a pair of D6H1's that are rough.  Then I have D6A1 and a D6G1.  Sorry I don't have the one you are looking for.

These old carbs are not to difficult to rebuild. And rebuild kits are available for most of them.

The Carter D6A2 is what id prefer, but according to the specifications a D6A1 will also be right. Thanks for the help.  Mike

do you know what the number is for the carb you need , looking at the Carter listing for a 1940
Plymouth there were 3 different carbs used ,the listings are 1939-41,  D6A1-2  and also D6C1-2, 1940-42 used B6P1

Too bad yours is not a C-6-A-2... I'd take it off your hands if it were. :)

Looking for a  Carter carburetor to fit a 1940 Plymouth. The one I have is a model D6A2 type. I am in need of another for my other restoration. Thanks , Mike
