where is the rot and how extensive is it?  Can it not be repaired?  these frames are pretty strong, I would think the damaged area could be cut out and replaced with new steel, unless it way to extensive.  Do you know what the wheelbase of the original frame is?

36 Ply

I had a bad experience with Ply-Do a while back. I ordered used front springs from them; when they didn't arrive,  I called; they said they were getting READY to remove them. They weren't concerned or helpful at all, so I cancelled the order.

Jerry as long as the frame is bad, go to the p15-d24 website, someone there might be able to steer you in the right direction in what chassis will work

INTERESTED IN  FINDING  AND SETTING A 56 2 DOOR BODY ON A LATE MODEL CHASSIS SO AS TO HAVE MODERN DRIVING.  MAYBE BUY A WRECKED BODY WITH A/C AND MODERN RUNNING GEAR.
WHAT DO MEMBERS THINK A 56 BODY WILL FIT ON, WITH LEAST TIME AND MONEY SPENT ON MODIFICATIONS?
ALL RECOMMENDATIONS APPRECIATED.  THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.
