You know..... I got a truck leather cover and cut it down almost 1 inch and it worked great!

Dia:  17.5 and it is 1 in thick..the major companies that advertise on the internet usually never list one for the larger wheel but they do have them if you send a contact note with your special need...else....then a trip to the local truck stop for the accessories they sell as they still have the larger wheels in these vehicles..

Again, as someone new to the world of vintage Plymouths, while I'm waiting for my '54 Belvedere to arrive, I'd like to get a nice leather steering wheel cover.  However, I don't know the diameter of the Steering Wheel, or the thickness of it.  If anyone can measure their '54's steering wheel and let me know, that would be great.  Thanks.   :)
