WOW thanks alot!  these should help.  Jim, thanks for scannign and posting a link.  is that the closest you have to a 1941 or 1940 diagram.

It's from a generic repair book that covers 1940 to 1955, so I assume it could be specific to any one of those years.

I give up, what IS the matter with the 8 cylinder distributor?

BTW, I have quite a few different manuals (for cars) so if anyone needs a year specific diagram from 1935 to the mid 50s, I'd be happy to scan it and post it. Also, if you follow the link over to my Photobucket account, you will find pages of specifications for Plymouths of those years.

Here is a picture of a wiring diagram. It tells you the wire sizes and I would think they would work just fine on your truck.

Well i have dicided if i get this 41 ply truck i have been looking at i will keep it 6v.  however the wireing was all chewed by mice or falling apart so the PO cut it out! So there is no wiring in it as it sits.  So I am in need of a wring harness and an idea of what gauge i should use.  I know on the battery cables i nned to use thicker ones hen the 13v opnes but what about for wring to the headlights and gauges?  would i want to use 14 gauge?
