Make sure the m/c is full. Then loosen the old switch, have the new one ready to install instantly the old one is out. You should lose virtually no fluid, and the volume of space inside the new switch is negligible, so there should be no problem.

When you loosen the old switch, make sure the tee is securely held. I wish I had a dollar for every twisted and broken brake line I've replaced because someone didn't hold a fitting securely.

Can the signal light switch in the brake line T be unscrewed without losing fluid or will l have to bleed the brakes again after I take that out if necessary to remove, to replace. The service manual doesn't cover that item. Lost my brake light and the bulb seems to be ok. I will test for current and try the easiest solution first but trying to cover all the bases
