Thanks for the "heads up" Jim.  That is another driver's side and it looks like its in good shape. It is displayed upside down with the arm swung 180 degrees from normal, giving the appearence of a passenger side.   Unfortunately, it won't work on the passenger side.

There is a listing on eBay right now for a 1934 Plymouth sunvisor bracket and rod (Item number: 220039127981).

I've found most of the answers to the questions I posed in this thread.  I'll post the answers here in case anyone else is interested.

1)  The '34 Plymouth header panel is pre drilled and tapped for visors on each side.  The pattern is the same for each side.  This elliminates the possibility that the passenger side visor bracket I have is correct.

2)  The passenger sun visor bracket I have is correct for the '34 Ford.  It is for the deluxe Ford, as the standard had only a flip down visor and not both a flip down and swing away visor.

If anyone knows of other applications for the '34 Ford visor bracket (pictured on first post) I'd like to hear from you.  Also, the search for a Plymouth passenger side swing arm visor bracket continues.  I'm interested if you have one.

Thanks,  Doran

Does anyone know if the brackets for the swing-arm type sun visors for a PE business coupe might be different from left to right?  I have two visors, reported to be for a PE that are identical in size, shape and design.  The difference is in the brackets and in that the passenger side visor hase a full visor sized mirror attached, adding significantly to its weight.  I am speculating that the mirrored visor would need additional support, acounting for the different shaped bracket base that would attach more securly to the header.

If anyone has seen this before or has some reference, I would like to hear from you.  I have a factory photo showing a visor on each side, but the brackets are not visible and the visors are flipped up, so the mirror, if present, also does not show.

Is it possible, or likely, that the passenger visor could have been a dealer option?  I'll attach a picture of the brackets I have to further illustrate.

Thanks,  Doran
