The parts book shows a "Starter pedal boot" for the PE only. Part number 473083. Looks like it was new for 34 as I don't see it in the listings for older cars nor do I see a listing for the standard only the deluxe.

The parts book does not show any starter pedal pad for 1934.

On my 1933 I used a short piece of radiator hose to seal the gap between the frame cross member and the transmission. You do want something there as I found out when I lost a core/welch/freeze plug and some of the coolant found its way into the transmission (before I put the rubber hose section in to seal it up).

So far, I haven't found anyone selling a seal or boot for the PE starter pedal.  I've seen them for 35 and up at Plydo, Roberts, Pat Walsh and others to name a few, but nothing for the '34.  Does anyone have a suggestion on what boot or seal to use around the starter pedal shaft?  Also, should the starter pedal have a rubber pad where it meets the driver's toe?

Finally, is there a seal that goes under the floor and above the transmission and around the lower part of the shifter to prevent foreign objects and moisture from entering the transmission?  If so, is anyone making them?

Thanks for your suggestions.
