Check with Antique Auto Parts Cellar (a.k.a. Then And Now Automotive). I believe they have a re-vulcanizing service.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I will get some pics up shortly.

I was thinking about making my own rag joint out of conveyor belting, but decided to get them from Rapid CNC.

I'll let you know the outcome.
Next will be replacing the front rubber engine mount. Any suggestions?

Thank's again,

There is a supply but they aren't cheap, see my web site at http://www.ply33.com/Parts/group16#41262

I've heard of some people making their own using industrial belting material. But I don't know what material would be appropriate or how to work it.

By the way, welcome aboard! Looking forward to seeing pictures of your Plymouth.

Greetings,

I'm just starting to get into my '28 Plymouth. I brought her home after trading for my "80 Hardly Abelson. It's a busness coupe. My very first real old car, and I loven' it. Mopar or NoCar!

I'll get some pics up when I get her out of the garage, the universal joints are shot.
So far I've only rebuilt the carb., fixed the generator, lubed and changed the oil.

I drove it about 50 miles last week and noticed it vibrating to beat the band.
I pulled the drive shaft. The universals were just about to go south .I'm having no luck finding the rubber inserts i need to fix them.

Do any of you guys know where I can get them, or any ideas what to use the make new replacements??
Help would be much appreciated.
