H/C cylinder heads from EMI - is it a scam

Mark, depending on where your head is cracked....  The head on my 39 Roadking is cracked, I followed down both sides of the crack with a center punch, closely spaced, tapped lightly with a hammer. I sealed the crack completely.  It might not hold if this was a pressurized system but for now it works great, not even a seepage, hot or cold.  My crack was on the outside surface however.   Hope this helps. I don't know anything about your supplier, good luck.

For many years, EMI in El Paso, TX has advertised High Compression Aluminum heads for early Plymouths in the bulletin. I have been needing one, since the head on my '34 PE is cracked. I finally got around to ordering one from them, but now I am concerned about whether it is a worthwhile supplier, or a scam. Does anyone have experience with this company?
