When I needed exhaust work done I went to Midas. The muffler has a lifetime guarantee. I have traded it in a few times. One time I lost the muffler along the road and they still honored the guarantee. I don't know if they still offer it. They used a computer to help make the tail pipe. I recommend you go with a stainless steel system. They last and last.

I bought one on eBay and it looks just right.  It came in 4 pieces, (Exhaust, Muffler, Tailpipe 1, Tailpipe 2) and is supposed to be welded together.  I can't tell you how it fits yet, since I haven't gotten around to installing it yet, but as I said, it look just right.  I don't remember exactly what I paid for it, but around $200 sound right.

My local muffler shop built both my systems. They had the Flanges (to the exh manifold), original size pipes, and old mufflers from the back room that fit it all together. Even fit the original hangers. Great work these guys can do. Around 200 dollars.

Your local muffler shop(s) should be able to fabricate a complete system for you. But if you want to get the pieces and install them yourself there are a number of places specializing in that. I got the one for my '33 from http://kepichexhaust.com/ maybe 15 years ago. It needed some fitting to go on and my skill level was not quite what it should be, but it was pretty close.

Hi Fellow Plymouth Club Members,

    I need a complete exhaust system for my 1937 Plymouth.  Does anyone know where you can still buy them?  If not available anyplace , is there a drawing someplace that could be used to fabricate a system?  How about a system from a newer vehicle that might be close and could be modified?  Willard Crawford
