correction - it was the rubber seal around the windshield frame that was a challenge.  the glass guy was a big help.

For the glass channel stuff on my 40 Ply pickup, I ordered it all from Roberts and it seems to have held up fine.  I recall getting the channel into the windshield frame to be a problem so I called around and found a mobile windshield guy that was interested in old cars, and it took about 30 minutes.  It is best to take the crank out windshield off thecar, and it is very challenging to get it attached to the car again without scratching the paint.

Would anyone know what type of glass channel (material and dimensions) would fit the doors of my '35 Plymouth or a source of specs that would give me that information?
