I had the Plymouth out again today, just couldn't resist, but by the looks of the clouds, there won't be too many more days of driving the Plymouth regulary here in the Catskiills. On the way home I stopped at the store to get a cup of coffee, look what I parked next to. I must admit I was darn surprised when I saw that Caddy parked there.

Brian, I have also emailed and called the historical society up there and as of this point no phone call or reply to my email. Kinda surprised at that.

thanks Bob, how is the driving coming along. has the snow fallen yet? Still nice here in eastern, NC., can still get a few weeks in, with the Christmas Parades and what not. If you hear anything please let me know it would be interesting if they are still in business although they wouldn't be selling Plymouths.

I emailed the Chamber of Commerce in Schenetady the other day asking about that dealership, no response as of yet

Hi Bob, yes I still have the Buick but I have it for sale. Want to upgrade the Plymouth with the proceeds. The car was originally delivered to A.H. Witbeck a dealer in Schenectdy, NY. Don't know if they are still in business but it would be intereting to find out I guess. I have the builders card from WPC showing it was delivered to them and then the original sales receipt to the first owner along with the order receipt from the dealer to the first owner. I have her original reggie and a lerner's permit from NY for her. I guess She bought the car and then learned to drive with it. Lot's of documentation with the car. Brian

Hi Bob, it was originally sold in Schenectady, i don't have the info with me as I am in NY, b,klyn right now but when I get back to NC this week I'll reply with the info and dealer's name.

When you mentioned Danbury, Ct, it is less than two hours from where we live.

What part of NY was the '41 originally sold?

I will find time to post any photos and story you email to me. I can't make that stuff up, I need your help. I can adjust the photos so don't worry what you have - they have to be digital - Walgreens and other places can scan your photos for you if you need to.

I can clean the story up too (at least try to make is sound like a story) - just a bunch of facts about the car and such might be enough.

We have lots of space for more photos.

I couldn?t find it via PlyBul site Home and section structure there.

Go to the POC home page, you'll find the member's ride on there, then double click and you'll be on it

I see that no one has had a photo of their Plymouth posted on the "Member's Ride" section since April of '09, sure would like to see more photos of all the great Plymouths that the forum members have. Seems a shame not to take advantage of the site.
