Different from the one I remember that I don't see on YouTobe. Saw it when I lived on the East Coast, so it would have been in the 1974-78 time frame.

So he gave up his Maxwell for a Model A in those ads? I have no recollection of the driver but it seems like I would have recognized Jack Benny.

Now that you mention it I remember the TV commercial with the old man driving in to Midas with his Model A.

I attempted that back in the 1970s with my then 40+ year old 1933 Plymouth. They were running ads with Model A Ford cars at the time about the lifetime warranty. Said I wasn't covered by the warranty as what they installed was not correct for my car. Mind you this was after they did the work, no mention prior to the installation. Never been back to Midas since.

17 years ago, I put and NOS muffler on my 49 plymouth. It is now time to replace it. Can anyone reccommend a source? I like the wisper quiet sound of the factory muffler, but I am open to aftermarket sources if they are quiet. Stainless would be OK, too.
