The dimensions are Height 20-3/8", Width 18-1/4", Thickness 2-1/2". I hope that I have been of help. These are the actual measurement dimensions of the radiator from my 1939 Plymouth. Luckily I had it apart. The 1936 thru 1941 as I understand it, are the same. I hope that I have been of help.

I've got a core from a '34 hanging on the wall and I'd be glad to provide you with its dimensions, but I don't know if its the same as a '38.  Let me know if you want them.  I can tell you this.  I replaced my '34 core due to some bent honeycomb fins caused by the fan.  The replacement was out of a different '34 and it was thicker, so obviously they are not all the same, still it fit just fine and probably provides a little more cooling.

No luck getting an answer in "Parts and Paper" so I'll try here.  Could someone please post the dimensions (height, width and depth) of the 38 passenger radiator core (i.e., without the tanks and mounting brackets)?  TIA for any help.
