Mark,

The car in the photo you posted is a right hand drive, looks to me
(or am I seeing things).

Is the car you are describing that belongs to Gary a different car
than pictured?

Question was asked - how many?  The Plymouth Club has record of 360 existing 1928 @ & 1929 U models - the files are mixed so I can't break out by the two years without doing a whole lot of work.  Here is the breakdown.  35 two door sedans, 72 coupes, 1 Deluxe Sedan ('29), 13 touring cars, 1 pickup, 9 rumble seat coupes, 29 roadsters, 2 sedan deliverys, 1 unknown.  The rest are 4 door sedans.  There is a small problem with the list.  Some of the cars may not have been properly registered -- the body number was not included.  For example - some people with coupes call them "two doors" because they have two doors.  A two door (or coach in proper terms) had two doors and room for 5 passengers instead of the coupes 2 passengers.  Likewise, some coupes may have actually been rumble seat coupes for the owner didn't specify.  Same with the roadsters - there was a business roadster (no rumble seat) and the sport roadster with rumble seat.  Anyway, this gives you an idea of the number of existing '28-29 Plymouths as registered by the Plymouth Club.  Remember, a car is NOT listed as existing unless we have the serial number to show which car it is.

I got an email from Gary Stocking in Australia - gary has a LHD 1928 model Q that used to belong to a POC member. The FEDCO number code is HDO14L.  He would like to correspond with other Plymouth owners.  His user ID here on the board (send personal messages) is LHD-28Q
