P4 Speedometer cable

;D The HYgrade speedometer cable book calls for a '37 P3-4 Std. to be 67 3/4 in. long with a casing 67 in. long.  The '37 P3-4 w/Overdrv. to be 73 3/4 in. long with a casing 73 in. long. Both cables are square on both ends. You can get any universal speedometer cable kit (try NAPA auto parts) cut it to this length, lube with special speedometer lube, and install. The speedometer cable on my '37 P4 is broken. I don't know if the existing one is original length (80"). It seems that it would be better if it was a little shorter.

Can anyone tell me the original length of the cable for this car, and some good sources for a new one?
