Correct Antenna

I'll take a stab at it just so you won't think you're being ignored. Most if not all cars of any make from those later 30s and then into the 40s used a 2 posted side mount low down on the right hand side of the cowl. It was only when the cowl and the fenders started to widen in the 50s and give the installer a flat area for mounting did the single hole antenna become common. Putting a single hole antenna on those early cars required mounting the antenna up in front of the windshield. You may see photos of mountings like that, but I think a '48 era car would have a 2 posted side mount.? ?

Can anyone tell me the correct antenna to fit my 1948 P15 Sedan?? I've seen side mounted and cowl mounted - did they fit both or is only the cowl one correct.
Let me know if you have a correct antenna for sale.?
