help please: does this moulding belong on 56 belvedere 2 door sedan?

hi
this is fancy aluminum molding between rear windshield and rear quarter windows.  Picture is a 56 belvedere 2 door hardtop.
anyone with a Belvedere, 2 door sedan, please tell me whether the 2 door sedans also had this piece on each side?
