Our vcr is broken right now, or I would send for the movie.

Yesterday I emailed the "Detroit News" to see if I can get a copy of the July, 29, 1941 front page that mentions the expedition, hopefully I will get a reply.

If you go the homepage of this website - you will find the Adventure South story (as it pertained to the car) that appeared in the Bulletin back in 1982.  Lots of photos and some in color that were never in the Bulletin.  I was priviledged to get to know these three men before they all passed away...JB

The POC can rent you a video in Kodacolor of the trip. It is in two half hour segments and is narrated by Sullivan Richardson.  It is VERY good.

Last night I finished reading "Adventure South" by Sullivan Richardson.

I really enjoyed reading it, and would like to recommend it to all.

Our local library didn't have it, but they were able to get the book on loan from another library in their network.

These three men and the new 1941 Plymouth really went through some major ordeals to get the trip accomplished.
