Ignition timing indicator, C-435

If you have a dial indicator you can set that above the timing hole, insert a piece of piano wire, tape the piano wire to the dial indicator and it will do exactly what the special tool does.

My Plymouth Service Manual for my 47 Plymouth shows a Mopar tool No. C-435, an ignition timing indicator you stick into the timing hole plug to determine TDC. Anyone have one, or a similar device?   Thanks,   Ed P.
