Thanks for heading me in the direction of the Master Parts List.

I checked the 1936-48 Master Parts List and it said, "For a complete list of Standard Parts see Standards Partts List D-11171 (issued May 1946). So I guess I am looking for publication D-11171.

There is one in the master parts book for 1928-33, it is group 18. You don't say what year car you have. If it is much newer than 1933 then you probably want a newer version of the standard parts.

By the way, it is a real pain to look things up in there unless you already have a pretty good idea of what you are expecting. For instance if you are looking to see what kind of screw is used to hold together an assembly and you don't have (and have never seen) the assembly then you will be blindly looking for a specific part number in lots of different subgroups. Gee, could it be a pan head, round head, fillister head, is it fine or course thread, etc. In some cases I have never found the description of the fastener I was looking for.

Does anyone have a "Standard Part List" that indicates the part number and specifications for washers, bolts, screw, etc. that are not detailed in the regular parts catalog?
