Thanks for the suggestion. No, I haven't located one yet. Since the part is nickle chromed, it would probably have to be manufactured out of stainless or aluminum and then chromed. I'm assuming the cost would be prohibitive to have one made; so, I'll just keep looking. James Carmine was kind enough to send me a knob he thought was from a 33 with the carburetor tag I ordered from him. It was not the right one. The knob he sent looked to me like a small paddle switch which you turned to the right to turn on the lights. So, if anyone needs one, contact me for a picture to be sure it is what is needed. It has one terminal broken. I would think it is repairable. I'm offering it free to anyone that needs that particular knob. I'm hoping I can get to Hershey this year for the first time. Perhaps I can pick one up there. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

  DID you find any dash knobs ,i can't help with the knobs , but a solution might be to find some body with a lathe and turn new ones out of nylon , i did that with my 39 DeSoto winder knobs and they turned out well and being nylon they can be dyed to the color of your choice

Thanks for the suggestions. I visited the website, and he doesn't have one pictured. I did email him to see if he had one in the back room or somewhere else. Again, thanks for the help. I'll keep looking. Perhaps my best bet would be to attend Hershey this year.

None of the knobs on that site look like the ones on my dash (which all match and are obviously original). Not to say that he doesn't have the correct knobs, just that if he does they are not pictured on the web site.

By the way, I am not totally sure that the threads on the glove box door knob and the threads on the light switch knob are the same. I guess I could check though. The knobs do look identical otherwise.

Does anyone have a dash knob which fits either the glovebox door or the light switch, or does anyone know where I could pick one up? This is the only part I need for my PD coupe. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
