Dale,

I can't say this enough but I really like the color schema.  Your car is going to turn a lot of heads.

Congratulations,  Chet...

I enjoy watching your work, It looks good. Thanks for sharing your progress.

I love working on this car.........I also enjoy seeing other old cars and how they have been resurrected from auto graveyards from all over the world. Seeing the love and attention that goes into these soon to be "works of art" is something I just can't get enough of. I think its great to have a place where others with the same passion for these old Plymouths can meet and share their experiences or in my case, draw from the experiences of others ;D.

I hope to get more work done this weekend and will try to keep you up to date on the progress.

Looks real nice.  Once my 48 is completed I will start working on my 29.  Rooflines need to be fixed as well as the wood substructure, paint, and trim.  I will definitely go with the two-tone look and probably bring it back to the original marine blue color with black trim and fenders.  Just a thought anyway?

Funny, how to most peaple, any old car is a Model A Ford. When I trailered my PA coupe cross country, all wraped in shrink wrap, I had to explain at ever stop, that it was not a Model A. Oh well, it's always fun to talk about old cars, and I met some nice folks. It was a nice trip. The best remark I got was "what you doing, advertising Saran wrap" Bill James

Another good day today. Got the rear fenders on, steering colume installed, most of the wiring harness on and the front seat back in long enough for a little ride ;). Me and my brother drove to the gas station at the end of the gravel road I live on (about a 10 mile round trip). We had about 20 people checking out the Plymouth by the time I got the gas into the car. I did have to straighten out one guy who said "nice looking Model A you have there". The Plymouth ran great all the way there and back with no problems. Checked the water in the radiator after the ride and everything was good. I was a little worried because the Plymouth has no water pump, but the radiator was warm at the top and cool at the bottom. Correct me if I'm wrong but, I going the assume that's a good thing.

I will try to post a couple of pictures tomorrow showing the progress. By the way, GO...... I agree with you about the earlier chassis. But it was alot of fun to pull it thought town. I got alot of attention that day too.......... :D

Your paint job looks great.

I appreciate the praise about my web site. I just hope people point out the errors and omissions so that I can correct them and not lead others astray.

Hi all,

I picked up the 30U body today. I am very happy with the way it looks. After getting it home I can hardly wait for the weekend so I can start getting everything back together. I want to thank Todd for the wonderful info he has on his website. Last weekend I got my canvas top ready to install using info found there.
Does anyone know where I can get a brake fluid reservoir for my car? I'm also looking for a windshield crank-up regulator. Any help would be appreicated.
