Dear Go Fleiter on old rubber mats try a towel that has been wet with laquer thinner applied to the backside of the mat if it starts to leave an imprint of the towel it is probaly made from vinyl and will not work so try it on a small corner as not to damage it .
On new rubber try a heat gun while wearing a welding glove it can get very hot and can cause serious burns so be carefull !
Allways try it on a extra scrap first to see how much heat to apply.
Use the gloved hand to gently press and help shape the floor covering.
Good luck and allways try a small scrap section first as not to damage the good one!
I hope that I have been able to help.
Look foward to hearing from you  Joe Pacheco

Dear Joe, while I read post "rubber floor mats" by Joel Nystr?m, Your company came in mind: Maybe someone of Your Guys has one idea how to re-soften my old 51 floor mats or to help Joel with a hint how to adapt a stock rubber mat to the hump by heat or pressure?
Greetings! Go
