Yes it does have the wire hubcaps. Other accessories include light up hood ornament, turn signals, door handle guards, Mopar dash clock and windshield wiper fuild bottle. Someone told me at Lead East the oil filter was an option and the bumper guards aswell.

Anyone know what other accessories you could have bought in 1953?

Very nice car, Mikey.  Looks like it has a set of those sweet Mopar wire wheels on it, too.

Hi there,

My name is Mikey i am 27 years old and I have recently purchased a 1953 Plymouth Belvedere. Its all original and has some very hard to find dealer accessories on it. In the trunk was also a banner that I am guessing was hung in the dealership back in 1953. This is my 2nd classic car. I traded in my 55 Caddy for the 53 Bel. Never had interest in the Caddy though. So I never worked on it.

I will surely have questions for you all, as cars are a new hobby. I used to and still do,if the time allows, restore classic Italian scooters. So its a bug jump from 2 stroke scooters to a 6cyl car.  ;D

Well I look forward to talking to many of you and maybe meet in person if we are in the same neck of the woods.
