While restoring my car I realised that the Grommets that had lasted some 80 odd years had detreated to the point of no return. After trying to locate replacements the decision was made to research the possibility of manufacturing them myself, this was back in 2017. They are now available, after many hrs of 3D design work, trials and adjustment to come up with a flexible component as close to the original without the outlay of having a mould tool made. 3D Printing is the way these have been produced and here they are fitted to the rear of my 33 PD r/s Coupe.

There is a video on my website https://ctrestorations.com/reproduction-hood-ornaments/ that shows the best way I have found to fit them to the brackets. These grommets are advertised in the Part Reproducer section of the Bulletin Marketplace, should you have any questions either leave a reply or email me.
Thanks for your interest. Tom
