1941 PT125 Cab Alignment

My 41 is on hold at the moment while I try and get my PD finished, just have to top coat the Hood and the Fenders before I get into those little jobs. You are welcome to view my website, if you go to the blogs all the step by step are there.

I'm sure you are driving your 41 pickup by now but I just measured 13/4 inch spacers in front 1/4 inch in back I'm just starting my project and any parts or advise you could offer would be greatly appreciated

And yes, I'll get you measurements of the radiator support rods and forward that to you.  Thx Tom.

Tom, thanks for the input and I hope to hear from you again about the placement.  You mentioned that yours does not have the cab blocks, just the 3 spring bolts and the single solid bolt.  This truck does have the same 3 spring bolts plus the solid bolt in the drivers position.  My assumption (and maybe very wrong) is that the cab blocks are required on the front with spacers for leveling in the rear.  This assumption has been based on the removal of disintegrated blocks, along with the sale of new blocks from DCM.  I will be waiting patiently to hear from you about the placement of your cab.  Thx again,  Bob.

Hi Bob bit of a bummer by the sounds of it, within the next 4 wks I hope to be a the position of lowering the cab back on to the frame. The plan is to put the cab on my 2 post lift, I managed to take the cab off leaving the steering wheel installed, my fear was should I try and remove the wheel it might break in pieces. With yours I don't understand why you have the spacers and mine has 3 springs and one solid fixing at the drivers front, our trucks went down the track almost together ( in my 41 Register we have yours, the one on Lopez Island and mine , one after the other) Will keep you posted on my progress., you may be able to help me with the length of the tie rods between the firewall brackets and the Rad Shell, I have to make them. Stay safe .

I replaced cab blocks on our truck but I'm now struggling with getting a good fit of the fenders and hood.  Prior to replacement of collapsed blocks, all linkage through the cab was operable.  Initially after replacement, it jammed the clutch, brake, starter pedals.  With the addition of additional fiber spaces to raise the cab about 1/2" more, linkage is no longer jammed, but the fenders, hood,  and clip must be moved forward to allow closing the hood. I'm befuddled.  Any suggestions please! for a new direction.  Thx.  Bob Rogers
