Forgot to add that base models had the fenders painted black, an option to paint the entire car a single color. Also, the sedan fabric roof insert according to the parts books matched the body color though black is listed as well.

It is a good resource however I have read on other sites that it is difficult to come up with formulas that are true to the original paint color even with the Ditzler IM number. I read somewhere that the 36 Aquamarine Blue is identical to one of the Model A Ford greens so it shoudn't be hard to find a workable formula for that one.

Tod, I was hoping you could help too as I used your data which is the same as other references. Maybe you did help because I didn't think of trying to find other Chrysler codes. Thanks for that.

I was hoping I could help here, but my paint code information matches what you already have. I've heard that in earlier years one could order a car with a color that was standard on a different Chrysler built make. Could that 215 code be a color for a Dodge, DeSoto or Chrysler? (I don't have color reference materials for those to check.)

 I just got the build card for my 36 P2 business coupe. I posted it on the FB page and learned a lot about a few of details it revealed. What I haven't been able to decipher as yet is the paint code 215. 215 does not appear in the specs for 36 or any other close year.
Unfortunately  the car has a protective coat of gray primer over it but I have sanded some parts to see what lies beneath.  I believe the base color was/is Aquamarine Blue,which is really a nice green. This color shows in the fender wells and everywhere that was over sprayed before any upholstery was added.  Below the belt line and on the doors and jambs are painted over with Middy Blue as are the fenders and head lights. I haven't checked the hood or radiator shell yet.
The code numbers for Aquamarine Blue are 212, 213, 214. The numbers for Middy Blue are 218, 219, 220. Could 215 mean a factory two tone?
