Have you found a trunk lock yet ?  If not, you might also want to check
with Andy Bernbaum or AMS Obsolete.

Your  car, no apologies necessary, always better to see them on the road, rather than rusting away.  Again, good luck with it

Thanks for the suggestions. I will contact each location to see if they have a trunk lock that will work.
I'll also take a look in the POC magazine. Before I move to the picture and before I get a lot of notes
about carving up a car to make a street rod. I'd like to note the car was street rodded before I purchased
it. And it was in terrible shape when I bought it. I've basically replaced the bottom 6" of the car due to
extensive rust damage. With the exception of widening the rear fenders 2" I've tried to keep the body of the
car as original as I could. My apologies to my fellow Plymouth enthusiast if the modifications offend them.

Can anyone tell me if there is a trunk lock available that will fit a 38 Plymouth Roadking(P5) trunk?
I have been unable to source a 38 trunk lock so I'm hoping another will fit with minor alterations.
If anyone knows of a possible replacement please reply. I've just painted the car so altering the trunk
lid is not an option.
