I can truthfully say that I really enjoy the time I have spent on the POC Forum, and the other auto related forums I contribute to. My experience with Plymouth's is mostly with the '39 P8's, to this end I have been able to help people across the country, and in several instances, people in foreign countries with info and parts for their their cars.
I learned a long time ago that we "are not little islands" in this world we live in, we are more dependent on other people, their knowledge, etc, than we realize.
It is a fact that my '39 Plymouth would not be the car it is, if it were not for the assistance I have received from the members of the POC.... Bill

My hats off to all of you. To all that take the time to answer questions and give advice. If it weren't for pople like you I am sure may of our cars would have been scrapped along time ago.
It is sad when you think about how simple our cars are compared to the cars of today until you have a problem. Todays mechanics rely on computers to solve todays cars problems.
Our cars were much less complicated but todays mechanics have no idea that you need a drum puller to examine the rear brakes. I am sure if you handed a new mechanic a set of breaker points and a condensor and asked him what they were he would have no idea.
Over the years I have been a part of the Plymouth Owners Club, I have met some great people. Sadly not many personally, more from this forum.
We all have one thing in common. We love our old Plymouth's. We are not afraid to help someone that has a problem with their cars.
Thank You all again for your good advice and help. It is due to people like you, we will be able to keep our Plymouth's running!
