Thanks everyone for the thoughts and comments.  I guess I should have worded my post better, I realize that the outside car isn't really a Chrylser product, as there is no cowl vent and such.

What I really wanted to know is the type of car from the interior drawing.  I too think that it is either a DeSoto or Canadian "Plodge"

and...what about the window rain shields.....I do not recall seeing a set such as these on a car...appears to attach to the gutter rail..artist liberties at work here?

Well, it is not a P-15 dashboard. Radio grill, and the clock that sports a number "6" on the face is a dead give-away. Still think it's a Desoto.

i do not think this an actual photograph.  DeSoto steering wheel, Plymouth dash from 46-48 and the photo shows a car with out a cowl vent!
All MoPars through 1954 had cowl vents.

Thanks Frank, I appreciate your help

I believe that it is a 1948 DeSoto DeLuxe.  It is shown on page 10 of Don Narus's book, Steering Wheels and Dashboards.

Lindsay, I kinda thought DeSoto also or even a Canadian Dodge

Looks to me to be a Post War Desoto. Not certain though.

I have attached a Fulton Sunvisor ad with the interior of a MOPAR from the 1940's.

My question is, what is the make of the car.  It has the dash of what I think is a 1941 Plymouth, but the steering wheel isn't from the '41 Plymouth or even the '46 thru early '49's fop that matter.

Just wondering on a cold December morning in the Catskills,
Thanks,
Bob
