lighter and ash tray.  If the car was not equipped with a lighter then a blank which is the same as the ash tray cover is used... Incidentally, the chrome lighter knobs from mid sixties Chrysler products lighters are almost identical in shape and will replace the 37's plastic.

The recessed fronts and most interior bright pieces are nickel plated which looks much richer than chrome.

I believe they are the lighter and ash tray.  Her are a couple of pictures, one of my dash, the other I took and national meet.

I'm restoring the dash board on my 1937 Plymouth, and I don't remember what goes in the two, 2" openings on either side of the radio.  The Amps., Fuel, temp., ??? and oil pressure gagues are in the cluster on the left side of the dash, so they're not any of those.  I didn't take a picture of the dash before I removed it in 1996.  Anyone?  Thanks.  Willard Crawford
