He is an amazing guy. The last 5 years he did give up his holiday to organise these events, to bring the old American cars together(and also Cadillac event) .

Looked like a great time.  I know people get a kick out of seeing these old US cars here in the states.  I would assume that they are a little rarer to find on the Autobahn.   Looks like a great time had by all involved.

Ineke and other beautiful girs enjoyed the cars, the colors and the sun!

Edwin and his wife Ineke with their 1955 Savoy  Station wagon joined the US- Oldtimer Meet at Reuver , The Netherlands, on the perfect Sunday, 2nd Sept.
He put his problematic engine together very beautifully! After checking half a dozen crank shafts, he finally found a good one.

We saw a dozen Plys, most muscle cars, but a 1955 Belvedere too!

The evening before, it didn?t seem I could go there by Plymouth - but the radiator was ready in time.

We helped him a couple of years ago with his 1955?s worn crankshaft (8 cyl.)

Tomorrow we will both visit a small meet at Reuver, NL, one hour from D?sseldorf, 1/2 from Venlo NL, where Edwin lives.

I had to hurry this afternoon to get my Ply running. At 8 pm all was together for tomorrow!
