Thanks, that is it. George Asche added a lever (lower Foto with ASCHE stamped in) to activate the Kick down switch.
The carb housing isn?t strong enough for me to give it so mzuch torque from the KD switch.
Some did put it on the block at the beginning of the gas linkage.

That is the carbureator attachment to the throttle body shaft. I believe it would activate the kick down switch on the overdrive.
