WOW! That's some fabulous work there! I had to comment because I just finished recovering my running boards. After scraping the old rubber off my boards I just had to wire brush/treat them (especially the heavily pitted areas) with rust converter. I then used some super heavy duty adhesive (in a tube) to bond some very nice looking black vinyl tread (runner) to the boards. I found everything at my local Home Depot. Although this black vinyl tread material doesn't perfectly match the original it certainly looks appropriate and very nice and "fresh". The cost was ~ $28.00. I just couldn't pull the trigger on spending $550.00 + shipping to get mine professionally recovered although I have heard that Paul Bowling does fabulous work. My car will always be just a nice driver...never a showcar. Sabastiano, I'm betting your car will be that showcar that mine isn't. Make sure you post photos of the completed runningboards on your car as soon as you can. I can't wait to see them. I wish I had some photos to post here but I don't. If I can add them later I will. Way to go!...on the very professional work going on there...and best wishes to you in all your life's endeavors.
