I recently had the radio from my 40 Plymouth restored and I wanted to share the restorer's information in case anyone is in need of this service. My radio had tubes replaced, out of spec resistors replaced, the case bead blasted and painted the correct hammertone finish, buttons polished, plastic in buttons and in front of face replaced, and some basic wiring replaced. I ran it from a 6 volt power supply and it plays very well. Call or e-mail Barry for more information. He's a good guy to deal with and does a nice job.
