Glenn,

Welcome to the POC, lots of good knowledge on this site.

When you get a chance, could you post some photos of your coupe?

Thanks,
Bob

My '28 Chrysler "52" has the same engine as the very early Plymouths and does not have a waterpump.  The Thermosiphon works just fine.  I suppose the biggest drawback is that one cannot run a hot water heater.  Many English cars and light trucks did not use waterpumps either until about 1950.

Just one less thing to fail. :)

The first Plymouth with a water pump was the 1930 30-U. Before that they used the same thermosiphon cooling as a Model T Ford.

I am a new proud member of Plymouth owners club, and owner of a 28-29 Plymouth Coupe, from Watertown, SD.
Howdy to all.

I must be blind but, I can not find a water pump on this engine?
Thanks for any help or info you can give me..
