Good morning to everybody,
the car has been photographed during the transport, dirty and a little taken care of.
Now it is at home, the next weekend will be looked better.
The car entirely original and complete. I will photograph the details and they will be for you. The motor is the part that works better. It is bright it hat already been regulated in the CT before the shipment. Before the transport from the CT to Italy I made to refer the plant of the brakes, completely new, I replaced the tyres and referred the whole whole part, the tapestry etc. The glasses (some) are to replace, I already know where they are referred new. I have to check better the painting and to decide whether to maintain this or to repeint.
The running board are to repair, I have already contacted a producer, the most greater cost is the transport. Also the back seat (rumbler) was restored and it is in good condition. Besides I will need some gaskets and the material to made the dashboard. For this I don't know where to find it. In the next months I know what I will do, I hope that everything is easier with your help.
Thanks to everybody, Sebastiano
(I believe to be the only Italian with two Plymouths at home, Ply 29U touring and P8 deluxe coupe)

Nice car!!! When I clicked on the pic Sebastiano attached to enlarge it I noted that the car appears to be an older restoration or a car that has only had cosmetic repairs throughout the years. If my observations are correct, e.g,  paint badly streaked, windshield fogged up, blistered up running boards, wrong hub caps, and oil leaks from the engine, then the car may need more help than just a good cleanup.
A good source for running boards is Paul Bowling, Buckeye Rubber Products.... They advertise in the Plymouth Bulletin under Parts Reproducers And Suppliers.
I have purchased two sets of their boards, I have a set on my 39 Plym conv cpe....Bill

Look on the inside cover of the "Plymouth Bulletin" you will find Roy Kidwell who is the 1939 tech advisor, he may be able to help you out also.

Did you get a reply back about your running boards from Mr Acuff?

Great looking Plymouth I might ad, keep us posted and good luck,
Bob
