I do a lot of traveling all over the US, and whenever possible get off of the Interstate to explore the yesteryear part of our great country. I always have my eyes peeled for old car stashes, and often make an effort to strike up conversation at a local dinner during breakfast with the older gentleman about who has the local "old car hoard". This was the situation last December in central OR. I was told about a guy out on the plains, about 50 miles from dirt, which had quite a stash. When I went out there the guy was out delivering cattle, but his ranch hand invited me to wander around at will. He had lots and lots of neat stuff for sale, but I thought I would share this lead with the club members. A 57 4 door Belvedere and a great pair of Suburbans (one being custom series). I have no idea what type of money he is looking for, but I could maybe assist in retrieval if you worked out a deal and were not in a hurry. You can e-mail me for contact info. He only plays with the cars and salvage on Sundays from what the ranch hand said. I took some pics that I am attaching.
