I have a similar thead running over on the P15D24 site to try and connect with others that might be on the same route to and fro.

Are you going for the unearthing of the 57 Belvedere.?  Is the Tulsa show at the same time? 

This place might be like Woodstock for MOPA lovers.  A lot of guys from the P15D24 Forum are going.  The wife said that maybe we should pack up the camper and head out that way.

Glad my site has been a help...  that's what I'd hoped for when I started putting the site together.  It's been as much a work in progress as the car, for over 6 years now.  Man how the time flys...

I'd forgotten about your e-mail about the radio grill, sorry 'bout that!  I don't need the grill, my original is mint.  Maybe someone else here will take you up on the offer.

Have a really good polisher here in San Jose.  Likes to do the older style work.  Inside the fins are actually done, that is just not a good angle for it.

I got alot of my ideas from your site.   Can't thank you enough for that. 

Also I sent you a email about a nice radio grille for your year of Plymouth.  I bought it on ebay without looking to closely.  Its yours if you want it, it not, anyone on here can have it for shipping.





Still a work in progress.  I gained 25 PSI per cylinder with that head.  Runs great.  The valves are about done though.  I put all the additions on before I pull the motor to avoid to many new issues when I put it all back together.

The polish on the EDGY head looks great!  I polished mine myself, and I'd never do that again...  Took me weeks of picking at it here and there, amazingly dirty job.

I left the sand finish between the fins too, that would have taken me months to get smooth.

Looks like you will get there about the same time I leave home.  I'm planning to leave on the 12th, a Tuesday, and arrive in Tulsa on Thursday (14th) in the evening.  I'm leaving for the return trip on Sunday Morning (17th).

Will you be driving your plymouth?

I'm in the planning stages of my route to Tulsa, OK from Idaho, for the June "Burried Plymouth" event.  I'll be making the trip in my '50 Plymouth, if the planets align...  The trip is 1550 miles, one way.  I will probably break the mileage into three 500+ mile days to get there, which corresponds roughly to the pins on this map. 

Here's my route, thus far:



Wondering if anyone else here that may be making the trip is along this route?  It would be great to connect with others along the way.  Even if you're not going, it would be fun to stop and say hello.
