Most of my information comes from my car setting four feet from my office. Great referance tool. The rest of it comes from the great people here on the POC Board. I have a lot to learn about my car. I am sure I will still be learning until the day I die. I turely enjoy the time I get to spend on here reading teh different posts.

I think that settles it - '28 passenger side front door handle.  Thanks guys.  This same question has been on the AACA forum for a couple of weeks with no reply.  It's good to have Plymouth guys.  Would a "Yale" key be correct for that lock?

I don't know why you couldn't see the entire image 28Ply.cpe.  I did need to reduce the resolution to just under 300mb to get the picture to post.  Perhaps its still to large.

I was told that they only placed a locking handle on the right side of the car. The reasoning I was given was that you were to lock the drivers door then slide over to the passengers side (Curb Side) then get out and lock the car. Makes sense to me. I bet it saved on doors being torn off by an oncomming car. Someone pleae tell me if I am misinformed.

Yes it is 28 or 29 Plymouth. My picture only shows the lock and the left side. Is it a t handle or one sided handle. If it is t handle it would have been on buisiness cpe for trunk or rumble seat lid handle. If it is one sided handle, it is for the passenger door on cpe or right front door on sedan. It is the only side of the car they locked back in the 20;s. Bill

Looks like an exterior door handle to me.  No clue as to which brand it fit

Does anyone know what this handle is for?  It has been used as the trunk handle on a '34 Pllymouth Business Coupe for quite a while where it fit and functioned fine, but wasn't correct.  Now that I've installed the correct trunk handle, I'd like to discover what this handle was originally for.  Thanks for your help.         Doran
