I have a 23 year old son and adopted my girls from Korea. I need to find a more updated photograph to post. Yes, the floors were much worse than we first thought and we are not even on the rainy side of Washington. My friend George is awesome, he can fix things that can't be fixed.
I see you are into HO trains, I sold my Uncle's set to someone in Germany off of e-bay a while back. I have a good friend that lives in Munchin. Camille

It appears to be part #673418 - Brake Pedal Pull Back Srping Clip (with a weld repair).

See picture below for how it fits on a 1941 brake linkage.
