My friends and I made it to Carlisle and back to Philly this summer in my '59 SportFury, 318 with a cast iron Torqueflite.

Almost.

At the King of Prussia interchange of the PA Turnpike, it wouldn't go no mo.  It had always taken 10 seconds or so to kick into 1st or reverse from a cold start; now, it had given up the ghost, nearly.  We managed to get it up to speed where it shifted into second, and cruised to within 10 feet of the garage where I store it.  We pushed it in the last 10 feet; 10 feet out of 300 miles ain't so bad, I guess.

I'm looking for a good Torqueflite mechanic in the Philly area, the closer the better.  Any recommendations?
