Problem solved, I forgot about checking in the owners manual. It had the info that I needed in it. It turns out that all of the parts where there, but not installed correctly. I now have brakes and getting closer to taking that drive. I can hardly wait.........

The 1928-33 Master Parts Book has a diagram on page 5-4 showing the internal parts of the master cylinder. My copy of the book is a xerographic "reprint" and the image is not very clear. If someone else has a better copy, I hope they can send it to you. If not, I could make a photocopy for you.

From the text section of the parts book (5-O Master Cylinder Internal Parts) it appears that many of the parts are common from 1928 through 1933 even though they changed radically in external appearance between the 30-U and the PA.

I think the master cylinder on my 30-U is missing some parts or is incorrectly assembled, does anyone have a picture showing these parts and how they go together? This is a GREAT BOARD!!!!!!? GO PLYMOUTH......
