I also have seen the '33 sixes referred to as '32s in books because they came out in the Fall of '32.-- I go to car shows in my area where a '37 PT50 truck shows up occaisionally and this guy has a big expensive sign he puts out in front of his truck with it's history but indicating it's a '36. I told him there was no such thing that it's accepted that Plymouth put out their first truck as a '37 but he insists it's a '36 because it was titled in the Fall of '36. I think maybe you have been misled in the same way. Plymouth made it's first 6 in the Fall of '32 but they were intended to be considered ,and are considered,1933s. What does the metal tag on your firewall say for body ? PCSED,PDSED,PDCPE? There's a plate on the right passenger door jamb somewhere, what is the number? 1XXXXXX,2XXXXXX,3XXXXXX or 9XXXXXX?  :)

1932 Six? Might be registered as such but generally the six cylinder cars are considered 1933.

Anyway, the bearings, pistons and rings are the same for the six for 1933 through 1941. (Engine was stroked in 1934 so the rods and crank are different for 1933.) Last I looked they were still generally available through jobbers that carry engine rebuilding parts. If you can't find them through your normal parts jobber check with Egge Machine.

I also see those come up in various sizes on eBay.
