Thanks for looking! In puzzling over this thing, it looks like maybe a tool shaped like the letter "S" is needed --- like one of the ends of the F-3 "fender bending tool" illustrated on page 12 of Group 16 in the 1934 to 36 Plymouth Master Maintenance Manual.

I don't seem to have the information on the tail light. But will keep looking.

Original or Street Rod? That is the question. Is is right or wrong to do either? No, as long as an old car is preserved. What difference does it make. I have both.

I will look in some of my books tomorrow and see if I can find anything on it. But if someone else has a 36, feel free to jump in any time. I may not have the info.

The rings on my '36 P2 tail light buckets, unfortunately, have no screw and appear to be pressed on. There is indication that they are removeable but that  a special tool is needed. (???) I don't want to damage them and am trying to find out the "right way" to get them off for re-plating.

I have a 37 Plymouth. All I have to do is remove the screw at the bottom of the ring and flip it up to remove it.  I wouldn't think it would be any different, but I could be wrong. Be careful not to drop your lense and break it.

The chrome trim ring that the lens mounts in on one of  the the tail light buckets of my 1936 P2 needs re-chroming, but I can't figure out how to get the ring off the bucket. A special tool seems to be needed.

Does anybody have information about this?

Thanks.
