There is a thin plastic film that sets over a groove on the speedo assy, over the bulb. It starts as a green color, then as the needle continues to the right goes yellow, then red.

Hello all!!

Can anyone tell me how the speedo light changes as speed increases??  Mine works good as speed increases, but does not change colors.  The light that does show just gets brighter as speed increases until about 50 mph and than stays that brightness.
