What an absolute stunning and time consuming display you have Go!!  My time with RR's was the Rock Island RR in the mid 60's.  They went belly up after about 5 years of working with them.  No steamers at that time, but as a station agent, still miss the sounds of the diesels under full pull.  Also miss handing up train orders to front, middle, and caboose's by hand.  Great job and I really enjoyed my time with them.  Thanks for posting and the memories.

Best to Ya,

Jim.

That is a beautiful layout.

"Ausgezeichnet"  as they used to say
in the VW commercial advertisements.

Thanks for posting the photos.

well, I´m not into youTube.
I use to place fotos in one german model railroad forum,
so here is a list of some of these postings over the past dozen years.

Go, I had many family members work for the Pennsy.
I grew up listening to the steam engines pulling freight
and passenger trains. Nothing like the sound of the steam
whistle sing it's song in the dark of night or early morning.
My favorite engine though, is the GG-1 engine.
Would still like to see your layout if you would put it on
you tube.

Similar story here - learned to drive in high school, mid / late 70s, 1962 Dodge 880 Special 2 door - saw this '64 Belvedere right up the street w/ same push-button shift, threw me into a time warp. 880s don't come cheap and aren't plentiful, but this Belvedere was a bargain at a few several hundred $$ and all there. Just now ordered floor pan repair from Summit - "good luck and bon voyage!" to me, should be fun....

Congratulations on your new car!

I learned to drive on my family's '63 Plymouth so that vintage Plymouth has a special place for me.

Hey all - just joined, hoping to acquaint with some 1964 Belvedere 4 door enthusiasts. I picked up a decent example, 100% unmolested barn find, original owners, Delaware car, seems to be all there except for some disintegrated steel. Been gathering info, doing some project planning, digging in a little. Hoping to keep it original - 318 Poly rebuild, fresh sheet metal here and there, little TLC, and drive it. Any thoughts / suggestions / advice / opinions - I'm a fan of discussing things.... For instance, front driver's side floor pan repair / replace. And hood leading edge repair or full hood replace. Two areas most concerning, steel-wise. Alrighty then. Hope to interact - Greg here, Georgetown Delaware. Thanks.
