I'm looking for a ignition/engine coil for a 1930 Plymouth model U. Got any idea where I might find such an animal?

I don't think so. The '28 through '32 used part 79190 on all four wheels (the '33 & '34 also used them on the front). This is/was a 1 1/4" bore cylinder.

Not sure what the Power Wagons used, but the late 1940s Plymouths were using different part numbers with, I think, a 1 1/8" bore.

See https://www.ply33.com/Parts/group5#5-S for what I think I know about this.
