Yes the engine turns over by hand. It was actually running a little before I bought it so it shouldn't be a big deal to get it going.
Pictures will have to wait until i can get it out of the shed.

Yesterday I was able to grab a few minutes to "work" on the Woody.
I drained the oil which, by the way, was loaded with gas. Also, when I stuck my finger into the drain hole I felt a whole lotta sludge.(I expected this)
Picked up a new oil pan gasket from NAPA and will drop the oil pan and clean everything out (pickup tube/screen, etc). I was going to do it anyway.
I believe the gasoline in the pan was probably from the previous owners priming the carb OR the fuel pump could be leaking.
I'll more than likely either rebuild the fuel pump or get a new one.
I am also going to take the valve cover gaskets off and clean the oil valleys, etc and put new gaskets.

The Wagon is "home". It was delivered on May 1st.
I have spent a few days messing with it - just cleaning the interior up a bit and taking inventory of what I might need.

It is a 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe Station Wagon. Not too many of them around.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments about my "new" car.
I am supposed to have it "home" sometime in early May. At that time I will be able to give it a good once-over and see exactly what is needed.

You are correct. There is no "known"cure. BUT there are deterrents, such as lack of space, money, etc., all of which I am suffering from at this point. That's a good thing, correct? However, those things can and have been overcome in the past.
